In October 2012 me and my boyfriend left our hometown Den Helder (the Netherlands) for a worldtrip. It was a dream come true as I've always hoped for that one day to come. Our plan was to travel for 9 months, however more then 2 years later I find myself living and working in Melbourne and writing this travel blog.

 

We have found ourselves a new home on the other side of the world and never imagined that this journey would result in a new life. Even while we are settled in Melbourne, it still feels unreal and everyday feels as a new adventure. Living in another country feels as if you are on holiday every day (and yes, even when you are working).

 

This blog will contain some personal experiences, travel facts and stories about everyday life in fabulous Melbourne. Hope you enjoy!
